We have made it to the half term break with bubbles intact!
Thank you all for your vigilance, understanding and support as we continue to navigate the challenges of this pandemic together. It is hugely appreciated by all of us the efforts that you make to ensure we keep our children, staff, families and community as safe as we possibly can!
It has been lovely to share the Headteacher award and value award assembly this morning with the children and as ever hear about all the brilliant work that has gone on throughout school this half term. The children really do make us proud to teach at Spring Bank every single day! A really big thank you from me too to all the staff at school who enable all of our children to make good progress through fun and engaging lessons in what has been, at times, a very challenging set of circumstances!
Don’t forget that Monday 7th June is an INSET day so school is closed to all children (with the exception of Year 6 who depart for Ingleborough on Monday 7th June).
When we return on Tuesday 8th June the weather is expected to be warm and sunny. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for warm weather – no uncovered shoulders (strappy dresses/tops), no crop tops, please have sun hats and also apply sun cream before they come to school and send them in with some if they need to top up with this throughout the day.
Please also remember that packed lunches should be healthy choices and only water to drink (no fizzy drinks or juice/squash) and also it is vital that there are no nuts or nut based foods in any packed lunches as we are a nut free school.
Have a lovely half term break, we return to school on Tuesday 8th June- no changes to timings & arrangements.
As always, take care & stay safe everyone,
