I hope everyone is well on this lovely Friday afternoon? It has been a glorious week weather wise at school and it has been so lovely to hear all the children enjoying being outside.
Star of the week assembly was great this morning with lots of brilliant work shared (and lots tweeted). I have also seen that in Year 4 they have produced the most beautiful watercolour paintings of longboats and I will be posting these on our Twitter page on Monday - they really are stunning!
I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the staff who attended Ingleborough Hall residential this week for our Year 6 children - Mrs Ward, Mr Wrankmore, Miss Johnson and Elena. They all ensured that the children had a brilliant time undertaking activities such as tree climbing (22m high trees!) gorge scrambling, caving and orienteering. The children also did the school proud and we were the first residential for Ingleborough Hall in 15 months. They were incredibly impressed with the behaviour and attitude of all the children and said it was lovely to hear the ring of children's voices and laughter back at the hall. So a big well done from me and the rest of the staff to all our brilliant Year 6 children!
There isn't really any other news this week to report. Thank you for continuing to follow our Covid rules in and around the school grounds and building - it is appreciated by all of us here!
As ever if there is anything you would like to discuss, need support with or more information about something please don't hesitate to get in touch with me email@example.com
I hope you all have a very lovely weekend
Take care and stay safe
