I hope everyone is doing well and that you've enjoyed the start back to school! It has been really lovely seeing all the children come back so happy and ready for school. It has been a particular pleasure to welcome our new reception children and their families to our school. They have settled in absolutely brilliantly and I am sure that they will all have a very happy and successful year in Reception!
It has also been great seeing all our parents, carers and families again we all feel that it is very nice to be able to operate the school with some level of normalcy! Thank you also for continuing to wear face coverings when you do need to come into school - this is very appreciated by all of us.
There isn't a lot of news this week from me. Club letters have gone home this week for a number of clubs. If your child would like to take part in one of these and they haven't brought a letter home please do ask them to go and get one from Mr Wrankmore. The clubs that we have starting next week are as follows:
Monday 3.30pm - 4.30pm girls football club (Year 3 - 6)
Wednesday 3.30pm - 4.30pm Year 3/4 football club
Thursday 3.30pm – 4.30pm Running club Year 3 - 6)
Friday 3/30pm – 4.30pm Year 5/6 football club.
There will be more clubs coming soon including one for year 1/2. If you are interested in running a club at school (or you have previously run one here) please do get in touch with me so that we can discuss this.
I have attached for your information a parental behaviour policy which will also be uploaded to the website. This was approved by our Governing Body in July 2021. We feel very strongly as a school that all staff and students have the right to feel safe and protected in their place of work.
The new website is now live and we are in the process of making sure that this is all up to date. We will be putting up a class page for each class so that you can see what your child is learning each term and any key information that you need to be aware of. We will also be keeping our Twitter feed up to date with all the brilliant learning that is going on in school so please do follow us on Twitter if you don't already @bank_primary
I hope you all have a very lovely weekend and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday morning!
