27TH MAY 2022 FRIDAY NEWSLETTER
Friday, 27 May 2022
I hope you have all had a good week – we’ve had lots of fun this week getting ready for our Jubilee picnic this afternoon. We shared an assembly yesterday looking at the 7 decades the Queen has ruled and all the things that have happened in our country over these decades – it definitely made me feel very old! Chartwells put on a fantastic lunch yesterday that was in the style of an afternoon tea and this was very popular with the children!

It was lovely to see them all back and happy and no doubt looking forward to a good rest over half term! A massive thank you as well to the team who went with them all and made it such an enjoyable and memorable trip – Mrs Baruah, Mrs Ward, Mr Thomas, Katy and Elena – we hope you all have a very well deserved break too!
As you can see from the dates above we have lots of nice things coming up after half term and the PTA are also hoping to host a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 disco at school – more information about this will follow!

Well done to Reception – you will have attendance Ted after the half term holiday! I have sent out attendance letters and also minutes late letters for this half term. On our return I will be doing a late gate to meet and greet any one running late. It is so important to be punctual to school and I’m really hoping that after half term we can have a really big push on improving this and also our whole school attendance.
I hope you all manage to have a lovely half term holiday and if you are celebrating the Jubilee in any way please feel free to send me some photos for our Twitter feed!
Don’t forget we return to school on TUESDAY 7th JUNE at 9.00am.
Many thanks as ever for all your support,
