Please find attached some fun activities that you might want to share with your child/ren during the holiday period. I will add some more activities in a couple of weeks. I would love to know what you do over the summer holidays and will hopefully be adding some photos to our school Twitter account. I hope you all manage to have a wonderful summer break and we can’t wait to see you all in September!

Please find the attached flyer from Leeds City Museum with some great virtual activities for the summer holidays – let me know how you get on with them!

Please find attached the document that was sent out to all parents with information about our opening plans for September. All children are expected to be back in school on Wednesday 9th September (new Reception parents are receiving separate information about their start to school).

Any questions please contact me via email, many thanks as ever Sarah x

This week is the Royal Life Saving Society’s annual campaign to raise awareness about how to enjoy water safely and be a life saver. Underneath are the Water Safety Information posters and downloadable resources from the Aquatics team at Leeds City Council. You can also find more information and resources at the Royal Life Saving Society’s website:

The video on the RLSS website does have some distressing content on it so you may want to watch it first to see if it is suitable for your child to view.

Hi everyone,

Artforms have released some fantastic music resources on their website. These are suitable for all children (have a look at curriculum music for home education). There are also great resources on there for children in Year 5 who are learning the ukulele and children who would usually be having instrumental lessons in school. Follow the link below to the Artforms website and go to Out of School – Home Learning Resources.

All the best

Miss Johnson

A brilliant online magazine for families during lock down….this has been shared by one of our lovely parents.

Wishing Captain Tom Moore a very happy 100th Birthday! What a hero he really is.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a virtual tour of the Tutankhamun exhibition that should have been on at the Saatchi Gallery in London. It’s well worth the 5 minute tour and there are some fantastic facts about all the artefacts displayed!

Please find attached some things that you can do at home linked to VE Day (8th May 2020) which is something that we should have been celebrating in school.

I’ve also attached a guide to some online singing sessions that you can join in with through the Diocese of Leeds.
