School Trips

At Spring Bank we believe that activities outside the school environment enrich the children’s learning experience. As well as an annual residential trip to Ingleborough for Year 6, there are plenty of opportunities for all the children to get out and about.

The following trips have already been arranged for this year. More will be announced as they are arranged.

Year 6

  • Haworth – 12th October
  • Ingleborough Residential – 21st-25th May

Year 4

  • Trip to Victorian Schoolroom – 15th December

Year 3

  • Trip to Eden Camp – 27th September

Below are just some examples of trips that took place last year and some comments from the children who went.

  • Ice Cube Skating
  • Ancient Greek Actor into classroom
  • City Learning Centre – Robotics

Year 5

  • Temple Newsam – Tudor Day
  • Ice Cube Skating

Year 4

Victorian Schoolroom

I learned what it was like to be a proper schoolchild in Victorian times – Alice

It was weird because we had strange names – Raj

Alice In Wonderland

I liked the Mad Hatter’s tea party when they all ran round the table – Dylan T

The acting was really good and the songs were great to listen to – Persia

Steel Pans Day

Playing steel pans was great! – Azhar

It was interesting to learn to play an instrument from a different country – Yanis
