Spring Bank Primary took part in anti-bullying week between 16th-20th November 2015. This year, the children were asked to ‘Make a Noise about bullying’. Throughout the week, the school and children helped to raise awareness about bullying in several ways, including a special assembly with musical performances, a play written and performed by a group of year 6 pupils, anti-bullying bunting and posters and special discussions in PSHE lessons. The children wore blue clothing in support of ‘Blue Friday’ to raise awareness of anti-bullying week. Finally, all the children, staff and some parents gathered outside on the pitch to ‘Make a Noise about bullying’ together for all of Headingley to hear!
